Rachel & Collins wedding it was a beautiful day in September. Their day started with storm clouds and flood warnings. Thanks to God many prayers were answered and out came the sun and dried up all the rain.
The bride and groom could not have been more grateful. There was also a beautiful reminder given to the bride that “It is good luck to have rain on your wedding day.” The reason is another term for a wedding is “tying the knot” and when rope gets wet the knot tightens holding more securely. What a beautiful blessing on their marriage.

The wedding ceremony was held at Colllin's family church. The bride & groom were married under a beautiful stained glass window that was dedicated to the memory of his grandpa. What a beautiful way to celebrate their life together surrounded by generations of love.
Every aspect of their day was filled with legacy even the portrait time. We met back at the family farm and wondered through the gardens Collin’s mom has planted year after year since his childhood. What a beautiful and personal backdrop to remember their special day.

Their country reception was held at the beautiful Barnacopia in Polo IL. Not only is it great wedding venue on the weekends it is also a museum during the week. This gives guests an extra layer of fun during the day.

I have never experienced a more kind couple as I have had with these two. They literally overflowed with joy to everyone they came in contact with and their entire vendor team was on a high from working with them!
