Over the weekend the kids and I took Sunday off from church and stayed in our jammies, played piano, read books, and made brownies! We had had a busy couple of weeks before so a “Day of Rest” felt great! (Just missed Nathan because he went back to work). In between book, games, and cleaning… Arthur and I got a sweet tooth. Brownies had been on my mind for a couple weeks but I kept forgetting to get a mix at the store. Up until that point that’s the only way I knew how to make them. But while I cleaned out some cupboards I found a box of chocolate pudding instead! Which made me wonder if I could turn that into brownies? A quick Pinterest search later here is what I found! Along with a few modifications because I’m terrible at actually following directions. ENJOY!

Pudding Brownies!

1 box of Chocolate Pudding Mix

2 eggs

1 stick of butter (softened)

1/2 cup sugar (I used brown)

1/2 cup flour (I used white but I think a gluten free option would work really well also)

1tsp of vanilla

Just enough milk to get the batter smooth

After I mixed all the ingredients together Arthur sprinkled some chocolate chips on top. (Because that is his area of expertise in the kitchen! Next to eating them of course ;)

We dumped the batter in a 9 inch round pan.

Then cooked them for 20 minutes at 350.

They were more of a thin cakey brownie. But by morning that pan was completely empty. So ill let you be the judge of what we thought of Pudding Brownes!
